Regular readers might recognise Jasmin from several blogs ago.  You can read about it here if you’re interested.  Anyway, it was nice to reconnect after the summer.  Her circumstances have changed, no longer working in Lefkosa, she has actually moved to her “little slice of heaven’ near Esentepe.   She is living very near an amazing clay beach, and she has some ideas going forward, so I went along and spent the afternoon there, met her fiancé and her make up artist friend, and went to look at the beach and talk ideas.

We made a lot of plans, and I think she will be perfect for another project, and we are working together now on a costume for that.  So full steam ahead.  It's so nice that she has lots of creative plans since we last saw each other.

I had a really nice day with them, and of course we had to take some test shots.

This is the beach, although we didn't venture too far up it.  Lots of weird rock formations and clay deposits, as well as copper I think.

I played around with what I call sunglasses for lenses, and shot these next ones with an ND8 Filter.  I don't mention this stuff, this is not a how to take photographs blog, but it is something I have learned to do in Cyprus with the hardcore sunshine, because I like to shoot at high apertures.

I quite like the next ones, still using the filter.

So when we came back from the beach I met her make up artist friend Idaliya, who is very stylish herself, and we talked a little about this beach project.  She was wearing a really cool dress with splits, so we got a couple of photos of that too.

We will be working together with Idaliya on this beach project, and I think she will be in the pictures too.
