Since the Tree Mistress shoot with Shawdi we have been working on a new mythical idea involving Tarot.  That is all I will say for now.  It will be more of a surprise when it is done.  You know that Shawdi made the costume for Tree Mistress, and she will make something for this next mythical project.

She is really one of my favourite people to work with.  She looks amazing, she has good instincts, good ideas, and she does costume as well as make up.  And her partner and I get on well too.  Its always such a pleasure to see them.

So I went to see her in Magusa and we went shopping for fabrics and stuff and made some decisions for going forward.  Great stuff.

I have also had this idea floating around for a while of doing some multiple and long exposure shots outside with legs.  I am calling them legscapes, which is a made up word.

When you do this sort of stuff normally inside, I use a darkened room with a black background.

It was definitely a challenge doing outside in the street.  So much light leakage, and even changing conditions with moving cars adding to the mix.

Add in darkness and my poor vision, and its no surprise I fumbled the focus on the first attempt.   I ended up returning to do the shoot again 6 days later.  

I have had one other idea floating around.  It is inspired by a specific scene in the video for Queen Of Dust by Blaze.  We found a nice spot behind her flat and did a whole set of silhouette shapes and club vibes.  More about that later.  We also documented the full length outfits used in the legscapes.

So here with my vision of the legscapes.  These are from the second visit.  Thanks to Cash for all the help.  He really is a gentleman.

Thanks to Shawdi for the endless patience.  These are not so fun for the model, lots of direction and quick movement.

So we did get some shots from the first attempt, only one in proper focus.  The out of focus ones work well, but I would have used a more interesting scene for the background
