A much more normal month this month in terms of quanitity of photos. June was mad and had to be split into three parts, this month is only 2 parts. That said my favourite shoot of the year happened this month and it has me somewhat depressed, because I can't think of doing something better. Above is just a taste but more below.
So the month started off with Queen Precious , a colourful charachter (singer and artist) that has talked me into driving all the way to Lefke (about 90 minute drive west) for a party. It was a strange affair, I think she was quite suprised. She was selling food there but it was quite a local event for African students. I ended up meeting and Australian Cypriot, the owners, and a bodybuilder from Manachester that clocked my London accent. The bar staff were interesting people and there was a mad girl, or very drunk girl, just grabbing people or arguing. Can you pick her out?

Next up is Adel's birthday, that is my friend Sidika's daughter. Day time I took a few pictures at her school party and then evening hung out at her house. Of course she was wearing a Unicorn dress.

I was impressed with the teachers and how well they connected with the children.
In the evening there was family over from Turkey too, and the Greek side.

Next up is Bihter Ikiz, my singer song writer friend from Magusa, and her fiance Mete. Was so nice to see them as it had been a while. They performed at Bargadi and Queen and it was an interesting night where Bihter made some connections to the audience to sing. There were these friends there that started dancing to the music, and afterward, a girl came up to Bihter to say how much she loved her, and various people wanted Bihter's autograph. Also met some nice bar staff at Bargadi.

Next up is Anja and Jeremy, from Switzerland and Kenya, who wanted some photos before they parted ways. Anja shot with friends last month and that's how I know her. She's a dancer, he's an architect. A dog followed us around which was amusing.

Next up is my favourite shoot of the year with the amazing dancer Evgeniya who I have worked with (at clubs) and shot with before. I think we are good friends now and she was perfect for my In The Landscape shoot at Alagadi Beach. She has left Cyprus now but will be back in October and I hope to work with her again. I met her first through Seren at StudioSarp (a circus skills school in Magusa) and then again through Pera School of Performing Arts

For the shoot it took quite a big of organising as it was 35 degrees out, so had lots of water and I was fighting the sun so brought a light and stand, plus a second camera for the wide shots. Evgeniya was a trooper though.
The shot below was of her at rest in the shade. That wouldn't be a comfortable position for me.
I've always prefered shooting inside where I can control the lights, but Cyprus has so many possibilities outside, and my homestudio space is limited and becoming repititious. Lets see what the future brings.
Next up are some random ladies I met out at dinner that wanted a photo, then didn't get in contact for the photo!
So here ends part 1. Full album for the month can be found here
