So I waned to talk about some things, think about some other things, and share my thoughts. I am at a funny time artistically.  Part of me wants to give up on the documentary aspect of my blog writing.  Or at least keep it separate from my project work.  I have been thinking about social media a lot, and how it influences us.  When I first came to Cyprus in 2018, I had less than 50 posts on my instagram. Most of my audience where on Facebook.  But in Cyprus, instagram is favoured, and now some years later I have over 700 posts.  To what end?  Its not a medium that favours photos.  There have always been problems with aspect ratio, and the size of the picture on your phone is tiny.  Yeah you can zoom in, but its not the same.

I keep an instagram to show that I am doing things currently.  It takes up a lot of time, and I don't really want the bulk of my content to appear on a public site I don't own, that is subject to constant change.  Its the same with facebook.  I try to put everything here on my website, but that take a lot of time too.  And again to what end?

Would I be better served to just concentrate on the projects and their output?  

Things to think about.

On that note lets start with scouting for a new project.  My favourite thing I've done in the last year was Tree Mistress, using myth to inspire the shoot, and the tension of enchantment .  With that in mind, I found a place recently that might be good for a water spirit character common among slavic folklore.

I took my friends Mohammad and Alisa, or rather they took me originally, and I went back with them to take scouting pictures.

I am going to need a pale model for this one I think, traditionally auburn hair and pale skin.  Lets see what happens.  Needs to be done quickly as the conditions are right.
