Got a last minute text about this exhibition and went along to support Rustem and Sarvenaaz.  The exhibition is the last in a series for Elo’s Art House, a residency organised by Eloiss from Italy.  On this occasion the artists were Elin Yurtdas and Sasha G Kramer, co curated by Sarvenaaz Art.  Click the red links for instagram pages.

I found the exhibition very interesting, with mixed textiles, stone, wood and metal works bringing together themes of Lefkosa.  It runs until July 12th, do go have a look.

By far the most memorable thing that happened on the night was the chance to meet and get to know Eloiss and take some pictures of her.  She is one of those beautiful souls that has a positive effect on everyone she meets.  She is totally unaffected, meaning she is sincere and natural in all she does.

I had a really good time, and it was nice to meet the artists and chat a little.  There is talk of a trip to Italy in October, more cultural exchange, so looking forward to seeing what happens with that.
