Ishil is from Turkey and is a student in Cyprus. Isil is the correct spelling, but with a little comma under the S. Her name actually means sparkling or shining. We met at Hangar a short while ago and she was working. I thought she had a very intresting look and got a few photo of her. Anyway I knew we could do better, and I gave her my card and said maybe we could meet up to do some portraits. Half the time I give out these cards people don't follow up. But we had a friend in common, and she did get in contact.
I am so glad she did. We met up with two of her friends too that had agreed to help with lights and stuff. Their names were Antonella (Nella) and Suel. I didn't actually speak with Suel much, but he listened closely and gaurded my light so it wouldn't fall down. With Nella, who is from Argentina and Africa, I had a chance to chat before we started as Isil got me a coffee. She was actually a great help on the shoot, keeping her eye on things like hair and position of sleeves. It felt like we were working as a team anyway. Thank you guys.
Ishil herself is a very cool and down to earth. She has a bit of nervous energy, but can be very deliberate and elegant. She is thoughtful, smart, and wise beyond her years. She is very present in company giving you her full attention. And we had some excellent conversation throughout the day.
She has that sort of athletic build, is effortless in her style, and has pale skin with greenbrown eyes. I love these pictures.
You can find a link to the full album with credit at the end of the post.

I include three backstage pictures that include Nella and me, infront of some graffiti with my name. First time for everything. .

Thanks for an amazing day guys. Full Album can be found HERE with roughly ten extra pictures. You can find Ishil on instagram
