February has been very slow for photos, with only one event to report back on.  But it was a great event, and hopefully will continue regularly. It was the open mic night put on by @open.spaces_ at @littlecubabar The Cuba Bar is a welcoming place with very nice people.  The mix of music over the night was a real delight, with foreign language songs amongst good pop covers, with Elif the host, putting on good music between sets.

The bar is easy to miss, its sort of behind ARUCAD university.  Its was very cold actually, but there was a really good amount of people there. Hopefully now the event will be monthly.

For myself I have been visiting friends and having the odd meal here and there.  I had a couple of shoots lined up, but cancellations and bad weather has pushed them to some future time.  A couple of friends left the island too, but that means more people to visit when the time comes.

I also wanted to mention that Rustem Kitap Evi will be doing a photo call for a group exhibition that I might apply for and be involved with.  Apply yourself, details below.
