Its been another good month, not quite as busy, but more social, which is nice.  I’ve had a cold, and still have a cold, and am completely bored of blowing my nose, but its not too bad.  Weather is still holding despite being close to Winter, so it still feels warm, 20 degrees most days. On to the photos.  

So we start with Halloween as there just wasn’t room last month. Find this and other events now in Cyprus Events

So Home is a great little place right in the town center of Girne/Kyrenia. Its family run and sells clothes and arts, with a great outside garden. There was a mask and make up area for guests and a stall or two.  My friend Sharz did the mask workshop.

I got chatting to some nice people and managed a few street portraits

So next up is Rustem's Showroom, a permanent showroom now selling art all organised by Sarvenaaz

Was a cosy evening and met lots of nice people.  I have some pieces in the showroom, was nice to see people's reactions.

Well done to everyone.  I tried to get as many of the artists as possible.

I caught this lady's tattoo before I took her portrait.  I loved her piece.

And of course I did some street portraits.

This last picture is of a lovely lady I met that is a fellow reader.  We will be starting a reading group online under her guidance as she is a trained Waldorf Teacher.  Great stuff, looking forward to it.

Next up is a couple of shoots for InStyle with new people.  Below is Cemre (I think).  Very young, but into fashion.  It was her first time modelling.  She did great.

The second new person was my artist friend Sonson, you might remember her from the last blog.  Most of the time we do as many outfits on a white background as we can, but this year they wanted to try some outside shots too.  Sonson is more experienced and I thought she would be perfect for the outside.  Client was very happy.  For my part, the foresty looking background were taken without flash and came out well.  I usually like to use lights of my own but it wasn't necessary.  I include two behind the scenes shots for fun. Thanks Sonson.

So next up is Sanai Monestry in Lapta.  I went there with friends, Mo, Sharz and Alisa, but we really went to scout the location.  I was supposed to go there with a group at the start of the month, which included other photographers and a model, but because of border problems it didn't happen.  I did however spend the day on the other side with them.  More later.  Anyway these trees are 500+ in age.

Anyway I am definately going back with a model.

So to complete the story, I met up with Sergio and Johi as well as two other photographers, and we were meant to come to this ruin above.  We ended up at an abandoned location in the south.  Johi was really talkative and has travelled all over, so she had lots to say.  She is enthusiastic and we got on very well.  I did shoot with her briefly, and I include one photo for now.  But I shadowed Sergio on his shoot and got some great backstage shots.  I am not sure where I am going with the few recent nude shoots I've done, so are keeping them private for now.  Friends can ask me for links if they like.

Next up is my friend Orhan's award winning film, EV. We had a showing at a cinema in Lefkosa which was amazing to be at.  Got a few shots of friends and guests before watching the film.  Congratulations to Orhan.

Finally went along to EMAA (an art group) and saw their pop up shop and I actually bought some art too.  Thanks to my friend Reyhan for coming with me.  Unfortunately I wasn't that well, and had to come home early .  Damn cold.  I was meant to meet new friends that night, but just wasn't well enough.  Anyway I was impressed by the shop, more events in December, do go along.
