This month has begun to pick up again on photos and with all the students back it looks like a shoot or two will be in the air.  The heat is becoming bareable and I have had some good feedback on projects.  So all good.

This month starts with a couple of visitor portraits.  Both arty people, it was nice to be visited.

Thash is an art lover, although trained in Law.  He had many questions about the business of photography, specifically interested in the process and how to work well with subjects.  I met him around town at exhibitions, and originally part of a group exhibition.

Nafas, my friend and fellow photographer that has visited me a few times now.  We had coffee and chatted art, and tarot, and then her sister picked her up.  We had time for one portrait.  Beautiful. Check out her work @nafaaas

Next up is my friend Orhan, who happens to be an author and filmaker.  He literally won some awards a day or two ago in Turkey for his artistic documentry on family life after the earthquake in Turkey some years ago.  He popped over, we drank whiskey, and got a few portraits. Next up is a little trip out with the Zammani's and crew.  Little known spots.

I met Fotini last year whilst photographing the Diverse It Arts Festival. I visited her workshop in Nicosia old town about a month ago and bought one of her excellent pieces, see previous posts.  She had a recent open house.  It was so nice to see so many projects filling the space.  Fotini is full time with art and it was really nice to see her in her own space, brimming with possibilities. But producing any art is hard, often expensive and time consuming. Its a considerable achievement on her part doing all she does.

This time I met her lovely friend Raphi, who was helping with everything and made me coffee.  Turns out she has a food/medical/yoga blog on Instagram.  Very interesting lady and lots of charm.

Next up is my cousin's birthday.  Haven't seen her for a while.  She is a creative soul and fashion designer, and concept party planner. 

Now I am not one to turn down a dinner invitation.  Thanks to Ali and Sharz.  Unfortunately people photos didn't turn out well, but the view is nice and so is the cat.  I was also at Rustem earlier and met a nice person called Akya.  Great bacl tat.  Thanks for the photo.

First up is berfin__boztemir who is an author and had a talk and book signing night.  Lovely girl, very natural and genuine.

Next up is another photographer, Vera who I met once before but don't know very well.  The lighting in the exhibition looked nice.  Good work from curator Sarvanaz.
