Well its been a good month for photos. Finding my rhythm again after the madness of my exhibition. Lined up a couple of shoots and went to a couple of events. And things are shaping up for next month with an arts festival and Geekfest Kyrenia. Read about it below.

So first up is someone I met at my exhibition. She is a multi discipline artist trained in England but from Cyprus. I love her tattoo and she is an all round creative. Brilliant to have a slow walk with her in Lefkosa to get these shots. Thanks to Memo for introducing us. But mostly, thanks to her for making the time.
It just happened that she also was doing backing vocals with Cosmo Mo Rose, the drag singer that sang at my exhibition. It was for the Pride event with Cypriots from both sides of the border joining the flag at the buffer zone at the Ledras border.
I was lucky to be backstage and got some interesting shots. I prefer backstage so it was nice to be a fly on the wall. Its amazing what this community is achieving for relations on both sides of the island, so more power to them.
A few shots from the performance
Next up is the lovely Sarah, another contact made through Memo (or Cosmo) above. She is a stylish student from Morocco and agreed to night shoot in Lefkosa. Her friend San came along to help with the lights. Both girls were really sweet to me, listening to my problems during the break. It was all super chilled. The last shots are of San. Thanks again.

I went to a production meeting for the upcoming Diverse It Festival, organised by Pera dancer Esta. Its shaping up to ne a big event, running from the 17th to the 20th of October around the old town capital in Lefkosa. Artists from both sides of the border will put on various shows and workshops. Find all the links in their instagram page https://www.instagram.com/diverseitartsfestival/ I will be covering the evening events, see you there.
Whilst there I ean into some old friends, lovely people from the language exchange club I covered a couple of years ago. There was also a great exhibition on and I ran into Saziye, the curator at Rustem
And finally a fashion shoot for Instyle, just a few photos. Nice to see Esma again.
That is it for this month. Oh and Geekfest is on once again, this time outside at The Lords Palace. Find links here. See you next time.
As always, a link to the full album, a few extra photos here. If you want to see more of the shoots, find them in the photoshoot tab under Individuals.
