A slightly slower month in terms of photos, but I have had lots of family over from England to keep me busy. Lets dive right in.
The month started off with a cool charity event at the new Glory Jean's Coffee House in Alsancak, a few miles from where I live. Although a franchise, these coffee shops are owned by individuals sometimes, and this one is owned by a friend of a friend. Every week there are events there including a blues night on thursdays. This event I went to was to raise mioney for the street animals. It was attended by quite a few ex-pats, it was nice to hear some diverse English accents. They even auctioned off some marmite!

Next up is the wedding that many of my family came to Cyprus for. I did not cover this wedding, but took a few photos of family and stuff.
Then Bihter came again to play at the bars downstairs from me. Was nice to see her and Mete, and a few cocktails went down well too. At one point a cheeky girl from the audience invited herself to sing. Its amusing that Amy Winehouse's Back To Black is covered a lot locally, but noone sings the rude lyrics. I wonder if they know
Next up is my iranian friends I used to teach English too. Haven't had any visitors to my flat for a while, so it was nice to entertain. Made time for some photos. particularly like the one of Mina on black. Thanks for coming over guys.
So the weather has turned. It is often 28 to 30 degrees, but with some rain and cloud again.
And finally some family. I have never met these girls before, although I know their Dad. He is the son of my first cousin on my father's side. I found the girls delightful, polite, smart and sweet. Was good to talk to them and their Dad. Hopefully will go out when theor Dad is back in the country.
That is my Auntie (Dad's Sister) on the right.
Well that is it for this month. Hope everyone is keeping well, love.
