November is upon us and its just feeling like Autumn finally. This means its below 25 degrees.  Its actually not far off an English summer day.  We are getting some clouds now over the sea, after practically nothing most of the summer.  Even the storms from last month were generally electrical, so no rain.  We have had a couple of wet days, but as I sit to write its December.  Anyway, been a decent month for photos although in stops and starts.  It started off with the Cyprus Geek Team event, Geekfest 2019. Last year it was in April, this year November, so although at the same place (Kings Bowling and The Lords Palace), it was mainly inside. This year I only made it to the first day, despite wanting to go both days.  It was a great event and a credit to the organisers. I also got shadowed by an official photographer, which was interesting.  Seeing my photos and his from the same angles yet still totally different photos.  Beyond that I have been out less this month, but managed to fit in two children parties, a day out with my Mum, two dinners with my school friends, one for a birthday, another for teachers’ day.  I have playing frisbee quite a bit and my cousin Ali, who I worked with in London for 10 years, visited too.  December isn’t looking like a big month for photos, so my next post may not be till end January.  If you are reading, I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Birthday Dinner

It was meant to be a thankyou meal for doing her photos, she got me two lovely presents (a scalf and jumper) but the birthday girl ended up paying for everything else, including our meal and drink.
