Happy New Year.  Hope you all had a good break over the holiday season.  For myself, December was a difficult month, with back pain at the beginning, and a cold at the end.  I didn’t venture out on my birthday or NYE.  I did manage a couple of headshot sessions, one was a hang out aswell, with my friend Eric, we all had some food and treats.  So the pictures you will see are of the crew I met at the festival and then later at their open mic night in Girne.  I have high hopes for this new night and want to support those involved if possible.  To that end I had various people in that circle over for photos to help promote the upcoming nights. The above are Dorsa and Golden, below Shaz and Enas.  All are students in Cyprus, from Iran and Africa.  Its nice to see them doing things outside of university and connecting with the local community.  Enas has been doing art therapy workshops with some help from Shaz recently. All are involved somehow with the open mic night.
