Its been an interesting month, a couple of events early on, a couple of shoots, and some live dance performances. Lets jump straight in.
CPDC is a bi-communal organisation that puts on various events for both Greek and Turkish Cypriots. This month they put on a lecture with partners addressing people’s views of the Cyprus question going forward. Since 1974 the island has been divided into the Turkish half in the North and the Greek half in the south. Some years ago the border opened which was a big step. Going forward there is hope of a fair reunification agenda. Anyway it was an interesting lecture.

Their second event was set at a cool gallery on the Greek side that supports reunification and houses both Greek and Turkish art as well as older pieces from the Venetian period pre 1500. It was a child workshop, including dog handling, games and face-painting. Its called the Centre Of Visual Arts & Research.

Next up I went to Magusa to see my friend Bihter and cooked some stir fry for her and her housemate. She made cake and we had a lovely catch up. After the meal we did some photos in the living room. Brilliant night. Full Album HERE.
