Cyprus March 2022
As I write, we have had a couple of warm days. The weather has been pretty cold this last month, with a touch of snow a couple of weeks back, which is unheard of in Cyprus (except in the mountains). Photographically, lots has been going on. I have continued my residency at the African bar Cine Miles, and done a couple of nights at a much bigger club called Cheetah, mainly for Aerialists and dancers. I fitted in a shoot with some student friends, had a night at a Meyhane (a tradition place to eat) and even did some product shots for a friend. On a side note, it has been 4 years since I came to Cyprus, so this like an anniversary post.
So Club Cheetah. The first time I was actually there officially and got the gig through Seren from Sarp Studio who booked a gig herself for a dancer and an aerialist. I also reluctantly did a video, but it turned out well.
The details around the place are quite nice and there is a pre club bar upstairs called the Ivy Lounge.
I had backstage access too.
Next up is a friend shoot with someone I met at Cine Miles. This was a fun shoot of good friends. The two brown haired girls are sisters.

Onto my second night at Cheetah. This time I was just there to photograph the girls, a modern dancer and an aerialist, oh and a belly dancer that called me Uncle. Made me feel old.

Then onto my friend Bihter's faculty night where she performed to her students and collegues. Was so nice to see her and was a great night with good food.
Went to a Shop opening with the CineMiles crowd, got some nice street portraits of some random brazilian women.
