Teaching photography is something I love to do. I've written three main courses, one for beginners, and an extended advance course following on from that for intimidate students. My portable flash course focuses on speedlites in the studio and one to one tuition is possible too and is advised for students looking to actually work in the industry. Sometimes I do odd days in Higher Education. Below are some recommendations from my advance course and some examples.
"After my one day photography course with Sin Bozkurt I have definitely rediscovered my photo-mojo…I can’t recommend the course high enough…affordable, accessible, informal, informative, creative and supportive….I’m loving my new found enthusiasm for taking pictures.” Lenie Mets
“Fantastic course for the SLR owner of 5 years or 5 weeks- Sin will teach you everything from apertures to artistry and you’ll really get the best out of your SLR. You will feel foolish for what you didn’t know about your camera but it’s very worth the money. Blindingly nice bloke too.” Ben Williams.
“Sin Bozkurt’s advanced photography course was an absolute joy. As a keen photographer (more creative than technical), I found Sin’s very clear presentation easy to follow and interesting. Learning lots of tips on composition, and what to look for to add value to most photographs, we also looked at different photographers for inspiration. Sin’s passion for his job really enthused us all, and we could not wait to get outside and work through the brief he had set us. The group size was perfect, we all had enough attention. I have also felt very nurtured after the course finished as Sin set up a great Facebook group, where he posts useful links and tips that may help us on an ongoing basis. We can also share pics on this site and arrange future meetings for photoshoots etc. I would highly recommend this course to anyone with a photography interest. “ Juliet Shalam
“Being a novice ‘proper’ camera user I was a little apprehensive about the undertaking of an ‘Intermediate’ course but Sin & the other attendees immediately put my fears to rest. Everything was spoken about in non confusing layman’s terms & Sin’s easy going nature made the whole day seem like time spent with friends. I came away with not only a better understanding of my own camera but also the photographic medium in general. The post course encouragement & feedback has also spurred me on to improve on my current limited abilities. Thanks Sin!” Keith Suave
