The amazing Vicky Butterfly, performance artist and all round creative. She has been coming up with innovative acts for over ten years and gives everything to whatever she creates.
She is a fan of Alfred Cheney Johnston’s Ziegfeld Follies Portraits which are mainly off showgirls and entertainers. The photographer worked in New York and also did many film portraits. He worked exclusively in black and white.
Although we recreated the style, I think I appreciate the colour version here more, as the colours are so vibrant and work well together. All props were the artists, and the photos were taken at her flat in East London. Thanks for the collaboration.
