Slavic Rusalka

(Sin Bozkurt) — Mon, 31 Aug 2026 11:38:13 GMT

]]>Rusalka

With pallid skin and auburn hair askew,
Her garments loosely draped in silent grief;
Betrayed by him who swore his love was true,
She drowned beside the river, past relief.
Now doomed to haunt the river where she died,
She uses feminine and fatal grace
To draw the foolish mortals to her side,
And lead them to a cold and dark embrace.
Beneath her smiling face a hunger hides,
A secret wish to pull them down below,
Into the chilling depths where sorrow bides,
To join her in the sunless undertow.
Thus bound forever to the stream's cold bed,
She claims the living to avenge the dead.

Film and Video

(Sin Bozkurt) — Sat, 22 Aug 2026 19:10:34 GMT

]]>I enjoy time-lapse and film projects. I co-directed and filmed a feature about the community called Extraordinary Times which until recently was only available on DVD, and looks at ageing. Its been shown at Hastings Museum, The Jerwood Gallery, and The Electric Palace to local acclaim. In general I take on and enjoy small projects like show reels, or music videos. Below are some examples. One missing from here is Rather You Shot Me Down by The Urban Voodoo Machine which appears on their youtube channel.
